In the episode, Anupa Das has opened up about her life. Divorced just a month after she got married, she was living with her parents. Her two younger sisters are married, and she says her accountants are very similar to her siblings. Last year, Das suffered complications when his mother was diagnosed with stage three cancers. He went with his mother to Mumbai for treatment and now wants to use his prize money as well.
Anupa Das said, “My family and I had a very difficult time as a lot of money was spent on hospitals. Now, all I have is theirs. Everything I found in the program will depend on supporting my family. By the grace of God, we finally have the resources to give my mother the best treatment possible. ”
The teacher donated her win to her family, especially her parents. He shared that it was because of their love and unconditional support that he was able to reach the hot seat of KBC 12.
While Anupa Das failed to win the Rs 7 crore jackpot, he guessed the correct answer after quitting the game. However, Das has no regrets about his decision as he felt it would be very dangerous to lose everything he won by guessing. “The question was based on sports, and since it is not my strength, I was a little nervous. One wrong answer would be to eliminate the huge amount that we, as a family, need right now. That way I decided to let it go. However, post the game, when Amit ji announced that I had chosen the right answer, I was surprised. However, I am very happy and proud of what I have achieved in this game, ”concluded the third KBC 12 crorepati.
