Made with mustard greens, atta, carom seeds, salt, jaggery and red pepper, this paratha can be a delicious addition to your cold, fog morning breakfast menu.


Here is Sarson Ka Paratha's recipe:

Ingredients:

Half the vegetables, remove the stem and clean

2 cups atta

1 push carom seeds

Salt, as per the taste

1-2 tablespoons jaggery powder

Half a teaspoon of red chilli powder

Oil, roasting parathas

Water, to bind the dough

How to:

Blanch and place the mustard vegetables in a blender and grind into a smooth paste.

Transfer the paste to a bowl and add the atta, carom seeds, salt, jaggery powder and red chilli powder and mix well.

Add a little water if necessary and knead the soft dough. Close the lid and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Make small balls out of the dough and roll them into an even, thin circle.

We heat the tawa and roast the parathas.

Add oil to each side of the pan and toss until a light golden color is obtained.

Serve hot with khakan (white butter) and pickle.
