How to Make This Simple and Healthy Tomato Soup:

Step 1. Add the tomatoes, onions, carrots, tomato paste and a few cloves of garlic, salt and water to a pressure cooker. Add stock powder if you have one. Or, use home-made stock or lighter water instead. Stock or stock powder helps to improve the taste of the soup.

Step 2. Press-cook up to three whistles. Turn on the flame and let it cool completely.

Step 3. Now add pressure to cooked vegetables. Keep aside.

Step 4. Put a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and strain the tomato-veggie puree into it. Boil until you get the desired consistency.

Step 5. Transfer the soup to a bowl of soup and add the cream on top (optional). Sprinkle with basil leaves whatever you want.
