Toyota Fortuner Legender Spotted; Launch January 2021 Alongside Facelifted Fortuner

Legender is a premium enhancer than the standard Fortuner, with more features and a sportier look

Face-to-face Fortuner started in Thailand in June 2020 and will now enter here.

Legender will be unveiled along with the Fortuner released on the face on January 6th.

Legender gets a sportier look and a premium update over the regular Fortuner face-to-face.

Legender will share its powertrain options with the standard Fortuner.

With the launch of the Innova Crysta face to face last month, Toyota is ready to launch the blessed Fortuner.

Upon its arrival on January 6, 2021, the large face-mounted SUV will be accompanied by a premium and sportier version called the Lendernder. The recent spying of the spies reveals details of the construction of the Fortuner Legender.

Compared to the blessed face Fortuner, the Legender plays a bright light with sports balls and LED DRL. It also gets a thin, dark-colored grille and a large air intake, which adds to its premium look. According to the spies, Legender will get black roofs, ORVMs, and roof damage.

Internally, the upgrades are improved according to the materials used. It also gets a great 9.0-inch touch screen touch screen, unlike the 8.0-inch unit in the standard model.

Highlights of the feature include a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and 1-autonomous driver assist such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking emergency, and route warning.

Under the hood, expect both models to be powered by the same 166PS 2.7-liter petrol engine similar to the current model. Upcoming models, however, may see a change in the future in diesel.

Both can be powered by advanced 204PS 500Nm 2.8-liter diesel diesel engines as seen in the Thai-spec model. Although both engines get a 6-speed MT and an automatic gearbox, it is the diesel powertrain that is likely to get the 4WD drivetrain.

Toyota will launch Fortuner and Fortuner Legender on January 6, 2021. Some retailers have begun accepting illegal bookings at a cost of Rs 50,000. Fortuner currently sells from Rs 28.66 lakh to Rs 34.43 lakh (ex-showroom) and locks horns with Ford Endeavor, Mahindra Alturas G4, and MG Gloster.
